Barbados is an independent nation but still looks very British.  We did a photography tour that showed us many beautiful parts of the island, AND included a wonderful rum punch.  I have the recipe if you are interested.  Some of the photos include the Royal Palm trees marking the entrance to a Plantation.  There are also photos of sugar cane cutting and cooking.  The tour guide was Ronnie who is a very talented man.  To see other islands we visited, click below:
