The Chinese love children. They still have the one child per family rule. I heard it said that these only children are "little" emperors. But they also love to take pictures of visiting children as well, particularly those who are blond. |  |

All the buildings are arranged symmetrically, with many side
halls to shrine bodhisarrvas.

This lamasery was built in 1694. I thought it was one
of the best preserved original places that we visited.
